This 2-day trek begins with pickup in Chiang Mai and a drive into Doi Inthanon National Park, starting with a stop at Vachirathan Waterfall before continuing to Thailand’s highest peak and the King’s and Queen’s Royal Pagodas. After visiting these major landmarks, the route shifts into a more remote mountain trekking experience with around 4 hours of hiking toward a Karen village.
The overnight village stay gives the trip a more immersive feel than the day tours, with dinner, campfire time, and a chance to experience local life in the hills. On the second day, the trek continues through forest and mountain scenery with more hiking, another village stop, and a waterfall lunch break before returning to Chiang Mai in the evening.
