This 3-day trek starts with pickup in Chiang Mai and a drive into the Doi Inthanon area, with a stop at a local market before the hike begins. The first day includes trekking through forest and farmland to a waterfall and on to a Karen village for the first overnight stay, with dinner and campfire time in the evening.
On the second day, the route continues deeper through the hills with more trekking and another overnight village stay. The final day includes more hiking, another waterfall stop, and a return to Chiang Mai in the evening. Compared with the shorter treks, this is the most immersive and physically demanding option, designed for travelers who want a longer multi-day trekking experience rather than a lighter day trip or overnight route.
