About this jungle trekking adventure

These treks take you into the hills and mountains southwest of Chiang Mai, with trails through farmland, forest, and small villages. You’ll meet local communities, stop at waterfalls, and learn about the flora and fauna of the Doi Inthanon area.

Programs vary by length and activities (some include bamboo rafting or an ethical elephant care visit). After you submit an inquiry, we confirm availability, pickup details, and the exact schedule for your date.

Drive into the Doi Inthanon area with a market stop, then hike through farmland and forest to a Karen village. After lunch, visit Vachirathan Waterfall and continue up to Doi Inthanon (Thailand’s highest point) with the King and Queen Pagodas.

A full trekking day with village time and multiple waterfall stops. Start with a market stop, hike through farmland and forest to a Karen village, then continue to waterfalls for swimming and lunch before hiking onward.

Day 1 starts with Vachirathan Waterfall, then Doi Inthanon peak and the King and Queen Pagodas before trekking up to a Karen village. Sleep in the village (dorm style), share dinner, and relax by the fire. Day 2 continues with deeper hiking, village breaks, and a waterfall lunch stop before returning to Chiang Mai.
